BUSY & The Australian Government’s Indigenous Employment Program
July 15, 2009 – 3:56 amBUSY Inc. submitted two tender applications under the Australian Government’s Indigenous Employment Program and has been successful with both submissions.
The two contracts are for the:
Indigenous Employment Panel:
- Equipping employers with the skills, knowledge and expertise necessary to provide sustainable employment opportunities for Indigenous Australians, and
- Preparing Indigenous Australians to take up employment opportunities, stay in jobs and enhance their employment prospects.
Economic Development and Business Support Panel supporting enterprises along the entire business pathway, including:
- Strategies or services for building economic and business development opportunities for Indigenous Australians.
- Activities that support the development of viable businesses, and
- Financial strategies or services for Indigenous businesses and organisations.
We will be working closely with Chris Thiesfield. Director of Chris Thiesfield & Associates Pty Ltd in delivering the above. Chris is a well respected Indigenous Australian who operates his business throughout Queensland.
This is an exciting venture for BUSY Inc. and is an opportunity for us to work more closely with both the Indigenous and Torre Strait Islander communities.
