Government Incentives & Allowances

To increase the take up of Australian Apprenticeships and traineeships, the Australian Government provides a range of financial incentives and assistance.

Please note: Eligibility criteria apply to all incentives and allowances. All incentives are GST exclusive unless otherwise stated. BUSY is responsible for managing the Australian Apprenticeships Incentive Programme only.

Support for Mid-Career Apprentices - wage subisidy available for people (aged 30 and over) who are undertaking a trade qualification in demand. Paid to employer or Apprentice.
 
$150/week 1st year and $100/week 2nd year
 
Assistance for Australian Apprentices or trainees with a disability
