Skills Checkpoint Pilot
Career changes, as we age, are often inevitable but you can have a positive transition when planned properly.
The Skills Checkpoint Pilot is funded by the Australian Government Department of Education and Training to provide career advice for paid employed (full time, part time or casual) individuals in the 45 – 54 age bracket who may be requiring a career change in the future.
BUSY At Work in partnership with CoAct and Skill360 are delivering the Skills Checkpoint Pilot in select locations in Queensland and Western Australia.
The service is aimed to assess where each individual is at in their careers and offer guidance if a change in career direction is needed or desired.
The Australian Government recognises the value of older workers and the skills and assets they bring to the workforce. Throughout the six month pilot, our Gateway Services will have on offer a diverse range of personalised and tailor made services that can make any career transition less daunting and more rewarding. Our experienced Career and Placement Advisors will screen, test and assess each situation and provide an individual career training plan for each participant.
