BUSY At Work's managed program supports your business to make sure your apprentices and trainees are committed and following their training schedules. We provide support as they progress through their modules to ensure they are on track and complete their qualification on time.
Managed Apprentices are employed by you and work for you (the employer) but are managed by BUSY At Work Apprentice Solutions.
Initially our Account Managers will recruit your apprentice and undertake necessary testing and assessment to make sure they are the right fit. The program then offers your business a long-term approach where our Account Manager will regularly visit your workplace and meet with your apprentice, provide coaching and advice along with monitoring and assessment. The program will also regularly schedule critical skills training to further enhance the interpersonal skills of the apprentice and the supervisor.
The recommended managed program would generally extend to the first two years of the apprenticeship. However the amount of assistance and length of support is tailored to the needs of both the employer and apprentice and can be reviewed at any time. Our focus is on catering for the needs of each business and individual.

Recruitment and job matching
BUSY At Work completes the recruitment process to make sure your apprentice is the right fit. This includes developing job briefs, candidate testing and customised inductions.
Career path planning
Our Account Managers provide advice and guidance to ensure your staff have productive and meaningful careers. We do this by developing structured career plans so your staff can reach their full potential.
Coaching and advice
As part of our managed program, coaching is provided to your apprentice over an agreed period. This service is delivered by experienced coaches who have a common understanding of apprentices’ needs and is based on encouragement, constructive comments, openness, mutual trust, respect and a willingness to learn and share. The program is tailored to the needs of each business and individual.
Critical skills training
We spend time training your apprentice in important life skills, including budgeting and communication. This training complements the technical aspects of their apprenticeship and equips your apprentices with fundamental interpersonal skills. These skills go hand-in-hand with their training but are often overlooked.
Personal monitoring and assessment
We will monitor and review the progress of each apprentice to ensure their performance is meeting your needs through regular face-to-face contact both on and off-site.
Apprentice Solutions will provide you with reports on key milestones to keep you up-to-date on how your apprentice is progressing in their career.
