You can even employ apprentices or trainees part-time while they are still at high school through a School-based Apprenticeship or Traineeship.
The apprenticeship scheme has been made to be flexible and adjust to any business, anywhere. You can choose from over 600 qualifications to suit your business as well as having input into when and where the training is delivered.
Taking on an apprentice or trainee with the right qualifications allows you to meet industry requirements and fill current skill shortages in your business. To help you employ an Australian Apprentice the Australian Government provides eligible businesses with financial incentives under the Australian Apprenticeships Incentive Program.
