Get BUSY Mining
Last year, 58% of mining companies in Australia said they were understaffed, and the mining industry as a whole is experiencing a skill shortage.
The Get BUSY Mining School Advisory Program is a government initiative between BUSY At Work and Careers in Energy (an Energy Skills Queensland initiative) that aims to address this need and help you start a career in the mining industry. Get BUSY Mining provides information and support before you leave school so you can get started in this booming industry.
BUSY Advisers will provide information about mining career pathways and support to school leavers. They will also meet with Schools Industry Liaison Officers in areas throughout Queensland to support students interested in a career in the mining industry.
You can talk to one of our advisers on Facebook and Twitter anytime.
