Australian Apprenticeships Pathways
This site provides resources and information about apprenticeships and traineeships including 3,300 job and training descriptions, job pathway charts and general job hunting advice.

Financial Assistance

Australian Apprenticeships Centres are the official representative of the Australian Apprenticeships Incentive Program and administer incentive payments on behalf of the Australian Government. There are more funding sources available for both employees and employers outside the Australian Apprenticeships Incentive Program. These include: 

Australian Apprenticeships Access Program (AAAP)
The Australian Apprenticeships Access Program provides assistance to people who are disadvantaged in the labour market and need training to successfully participate in an apprenticeship.

Indigenous Incentive Program 
This site lists all the different Indigenous programs available through the Australian Government and how you can access them.  

Job Access 
The Job Access site provides help and workplace solutions for the employment of people with a disability. This includes workplace modifications needed to accommodate a worker with a disability.

Centrelink Australian Apprentices Payments 
Centrelink provides information on eligibility and access to financial assistance during your apprenticeship, including Youth Allowance, Austudy and ABSTUDY.

Queensland Government

The Department of Education and Training (DET)
The Department of Education and Training is a Queensland Government Department. DET sets the Government’s strategic policy and direction of education in Queensland. Their purpose is to engage Queenslanders in life long education and training.

Training Queensland 
Training Queensland is a service area within the Department of Education and Training. Training Queensland oversees and administers the apprenticeships system in Queensland. They provide advice, register training contracts and issue you with your qualification.

Apprenticeships Info
Apprenticeships Info is an initiative of the Queensland Government to provide improved support to participants in apprenticeships and traineeships. This site provides great advice on gaining an apprenticeship or traineeship and what's available in Queensland. 

The Department of Justice and Attorney General 
The role of the The Department of Justice and Attorney General is to improve productivity, equity, safety and participation in Queensland workplaces. They aim to promote fair, safe and decent work though policy development and community information and programs.

Queensland Training Information Service (QTIS)
The Queensland Training Information System provides details on all qualifications and their requirements in Queensland. Search this website for information on apprenticeships and traineeships, preferred Registered Training Organisation (RTO), details on supporting courses, qualifications and more.

The Queensland Training Awards recognise and reward outstanding achievements of individuals and organisations within the vocational education and training sector. Fair Work Online

myfuture is an online career service designed to help you explore and plan your career. myfuture has a personal career exploration and decision making tool and provides information about occupations, scholarships, study and training options. You can search for a Registered Training Organisation or course in your State or Territory.

Trade Apprentices
This website supports out-of-trade apprentices return to the workforce and complete their qualification. If your apprenticeship has been cancelled you can register for support to connect you with an employer to complete your apprenticeship through this website.
