Busy Beat is a social enterprise that has been developed to create cohesive, sustainable communities by helping socially excluded people re-engage with the labour market.
Our first Busy Beat centre in Ipswich was opened in April 2010 and incorporates a café, catering and training room.
The focus of Busy Beat is to give local jobseekers an opportunity to undertake real world work experience and pre-apprenticeship training, provide employment opportunities and a transition into the workforce in a supportive environment.
Busy Beat gives jobseekers the chance to train and work within a safe and caring environment, empowering each individual with the skills, ability and confidence to embrace their own future.
The second Busy Beat centre opened in Southport in January 2013 and offers pre-employment and training assistance to local Gold Coast residents.
