Helping students explore apprenticeship and traineeship pathways
Give your students practical information to help them understand their career options and take their next step towards the world of work.
BUSY At Work offers school engagement sessions designed to introduce secondary school students to apprenticeships, traineeships and vocational education and training (VET) pathways.
Delivered by our experienced team, sessions provide students with practical, up-to-date information about how apprenticeships and traineeships work, the opportunities available across different industries and what they can do now to start preparing for their future career.
Bringing apprenticeship pathways into the classroom
Choosing what to do during or after school can be a big decision. Understanding the different pathways available can help students make informed choices based on their interests, strengths and career goals.
BUSY At Work works with secondary schools to help students understand apprenticeships and traineeships, including opportunities to begin a school-based apprenticeship or traineeship (SBAT) while completing their secondary education.
School engagement can begin from Year 9, giving students the opportunity to explore vocational pathways before they need to make important decisions about subjects, training and their future.
What can a School Engagement Session cover?
Sessions can be tailored to suit the needs of your students, school and career program.
