During this extraordinary time and in response to COVID-19, BUSY At Work is committed to the safety of our stakeholders and the continuity of business. We will continue to support Australians with vital employment and training services that will assist business and economic recovery in the long term - and keep Australians working.
BUSY At Work has been committed to improving employment and training outcomes for individuals, business and community for over 40 years. We have always prioritised the health and safety of our stakeholders and during this extraordinary time we are taking every step to ensure our employees and customers are safe, while continuing to deliver our service promise and keep our nation working.
While this is a challenging time, BUSY is incredibly well placed to tackle this new challenge. We want to ensure that all of our clients and stakeholders understand that we are here for them and that we can support you however we can.
As the weeks and months unfold and the impact of this event is felt, now more than ever our service deliveries will be needed in the communities we operate in, whether you are a business owner looking to apply for Government subsidies to keep your apprentice or trainee in employment, or an individual needing support to re-skill into work or to find work.
These service offerings include:
- Access to the new Government stimulus package that can assist with paying 50% of your apprentice or trainee’s wages
- Employment programs including those for young people or skills funding for mature workers to assist them to continue their valuable contribution in the workforce
- Commonwealth Scholarships to assist individuals with Vocational Education and Training costs
- Australian Apprenticeship Support
The BUSY Group is continuing to work closely with all relevant authorities and are strictly following the guidance provided by the Australian Government Department of Health, relevant State Departments of Health and World Health Organisation (WHO).
Flexible Contact Arrangements
Under the advice of government health bodies, we have put in place arrangements to limit the amount of contact with other staff or groups of persons, and have equipped our staff to work remotely where possible. This includes providing our staff with the technology to ensure their customer contact needs are being met, including phone or video conferencing options.
Our leadership team regularly meet to assess any changes during this extraordinary time and each day, we continue to access and implement all necessary changes to ensure we can continue to keep serving our customers and, most importantly, keep Australia working.
Keep safe everyone!
Paul Miles, Managing Director, The BUSY Group Ltd
