This website provides information and resources for everyone involved in apprenticeships and traineeships. Find easy to access information including career resources, government initiatives, industry info and all the latest news and announcements.

Australian Apprenticeships Pathways

This site provides resources and information about apprenticeships and traineeships including 3,300 job and training descriptions, job pathway charts and general job hunting advice.

Australian Apprenticeship Support Network services are the official representative of the Australian Apprenticeships Incentive Program and administer incentive payments on behalf of the Australian Government. There are more funding sources available for both employees and employers outside the Australian Apprenticeships Incentive Program. These include:

Indigenous Incentive Program

This site lists all the different Indigenous programs available through the Australian Government and how you can access them.

Job Access

The Job Access site provides help and workplace solutions for the employment of people with a disability. This includes workplace modifications needed to accommodate a worker with a disability.

Centrelink Australian Apprentices Payments

Centrelink provides information on eligibility and access to financial assistance during your apprenticeship, including Youth Allowance, Austudy and ABSTUDY.

The Department of Education and Training

The Department of Education and Training is a Queensland Government Department. DET sets the Government’s strategic policy and direction of education in Queensland. Their purpose is to engage Queenslanders in life long education and training.

The Department of Justice and Attorney General

The role of the The Department of Justice and Attorney General is to improve productivity, equity, safety and participation in Queensland workplaces. They aim to promote fair, safe and decent work though policy development and community information and programs.

Queensland Training Information Service (QTIS)

The Queensland Training Information System provides details on all qualifications and their requirements in Queensland. Search this website for information on apprenticeships and traineeships, preferred Registered Training Organisation (RTO), details on supporting courses, qualifications and more.

Queensland Training Awards

The Queensland Training Awards recognise and reward outstanding achievements of individuals and organisations within the vocational education and training sector. Department of Training and Workforce Development WA

The Department of Training and Workforce Development, in addition to its vital training role, now has a much broader responsibility which includes a focus on workforce development.

WA Training Awards

The WA Training Awards recognise and reward outstanding achievements of apprentices, trainees and vocational students, and the contribution to training made by trainers, training organisations and employers.

Department of the Attorney General

The Department, responsible to the Attorney General, The Hon Michael Mischin MLC, provides the following services to the State Government and people of Western Australia:

  • the administration of courts, tribunals and boards
  • the registration of births, deaths, marriages and changes of name advocacy, guardianship and administration services
  • trustee services
  • legal, legislative drafting, policy and multi-agency coordination for government.

State Training Board WA

The State Training Board is a statutory body established by Part 3 of the Vocational Education and Training Act 1996. The Board is the peak industry training advisory body to the Minister for Training and Workforce Development in Western Australia. The role of the Board is to provide high level expert advice to the Minister on matters relating to vocational education and training (VET) in Western Australia

myfuture is an online career service designed to help you explore and plan your career. myfuture has a personal career exploration and decision making tool and provides information about occupations, scholarships, study and training options. You can search for a Registered Training Organisation or course in your State or Territory.

Trade Apprentices 
This website supports out-of-trade apprentices return to the workforce and complete their qualification. If your apprenticeship has been cancelled you can register for support to connect you with an employer to complete your apprenticeship through this website.
