What You’ll Learn in this course

Who can join the program?

  • Unemployed for 6 months or more
  • Australian Citizen, Australian Permanent resident,
    New Zealander or a temporary resident with the
    necessary visa and work permits on a pathway to
    permanent residency
  • Queensland Residents aged 15+ and not at school
  • School students not working and out of school for 6 months or more

What's Involved?

  • Two weeks of training and work‑readiness activities - 4 days per week
    (9am to 2pm Monday- Thursday)

  • Résumé writing, job applications, interview skills, and self‑marketing

  • A nationally-recognised accredited training unit

  • Combination of practical and theory‑based learning

  • Employer meet‑and‑greet opportunities

  • Daily lunches provided
