School-Based Trainees & Apprentices

School-Based Trainees & Apprentices

Helping young people to gain skills for their future

Supporting a young person who is still in school to undertake a school-based apprenticeship or traineeship not only prepares them for work or a career path, but it may also be a great way for your business to future-proof your ongoing skills requirements.

Typically, a young person undertakes a school-based traineeship or apprenticeship, working approximately 1 day per week in your business (or more during school holidays). School-based apprenticeships and traineeships are available for students from Years 10 to 12, and this forms part of their curriculum.

BUSY At Work is one of the largest and longest-serving Australian Apprenticeship Network Providers in Queensland and also in Western Australia, through The Apprenticeship Community. No matter what your industry, we can assist your business to find or sign up a school-based apprentice or trainee, supporting our next generation of skilled Australians.
