This qualification is a great introduction into the construction industry, its culture, occupations, job roles and workplace expectations. This qualification will show employers you are ready for the next step and builds on your foundation skills and knowledge to gain an apprenticeship in any construction trade.

What You’ll Learn in this course

Who can join the program?

  • Unemployed for 6 months or more
  • Australian Citizen, Australian Permanent resident,
    New Zealander or a temporary resident with the
    necessary visa and work permits on a pathway to
    permanent residency
  • Queensland Residents aged 15+ and not at school
  • School students not working and out of school for 6 months or more

What's Involved?

  • 5 days per week on the job practical work and RTO qualifications training
  • Gain experience across a range of projects including repairing and upgrading facilities
  • Personal career support to help you into work
  • Access to industry employers for advice and work trials
