About the Position
An administration officer contributes to the effective and efficient management of the BUSY School by providing administrative support to the Principal, Teachers and Educational staff.
School administration officers develop and maintain the school’s financial and administrative systems and procedures to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of the school and act as the first contact point for parents and visitors to the school.
In this role, you will:  

  • Plan and coordinate administrative procedures and systems and devise ways to streamline processes.
  • Undertake a wide range of administrative duties to facilitate learning, school routines and classroom activities, including word processing, managing emails and other correspondence
  • Provide administrative support to executive staff, including arranging appointments, meetings and venues; taking and distributing minutes; as well as drafting confidential and general correspondence. 

This is a full time Maternity Leave contract until April 2023 at the Shailer Park Campus.

About you
The successful candidate will possess:

  • Administration skills including a knowledge of computer software programs such as Microsoft Office.
  • High level of written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships staff and young people.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in documentation, record keeping, reporting and compliance.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience in working with a tailored curriculum.
  • Have a friendly disposition and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Hold a current Blue Card or possess the ability to obtain one.
