A bit about the role…
As the Australia Awards Scholarship Officer you will advise, assess, administer and process activities required in meeting the contractual obligations of BUSY At Work and the Australian Awards Administration team within the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT).
Duties will include managing the inbox of Level 1 and 2 Help Desk Support Service, responding to emails, web, and phone enquiries within set KPIs; Liaising with Institutions on a national basis; Data entry and monitoring of information entered by Institutions in to OASIS; Creating and maintaining electronic filing systems to ensure efficient access, data integrity, movement and security of files and Administrative processes including OASIS training arrangements, merchandise ordering, registering and updating welfare incident reports.

This role is Full Time, based in Canberra, program contract expires 06/05/2024.
A bit about your experience and quals…
This position requires a NV1 security clearance. Along with this, to be successful in this role you will possess:

  • Self-motivated with a demonstrated enthusiastic approach to day-to-day business operations;
  • Highly detail oriented, ensuring accurate inputting of information;
  • Strong organisational skills and time management skills;
  • Excellent communication skills and an approachable demeanour;
  • Positive approach to a continual changing work environment;
  • Strong client focus and desire to be a part of a service organization;
  • Ability to operate in a highly ethical manner in accordance with Australian and State Government contractual requirements, client expectations of high standards and BUSY’s high quality and performance oriented culture;
  • Ability to undertake training as and when required by BUSY
