An exciting opportunity for fifteen (15) Construction Trainees to work with BUSY to improve community spaces at Oakey.
About the role
Based in Oakey, you will assist in the implementation of the daily operation/tasks related to building and refurbishing community facilities. Trainees will gain a broad range of skills including working with power tools, measuring, working as part of a team, to name a few.
You will use and maintain power tools and other related equipment and machinery as required, after completing required training; attend and complete requirements of accredited training and assist with other general duties associated in construction work.
Our program and support service assist graduates in connecting with employment opportunities to continue your career in the sector.
This is a full time role until November 2022.

- Self-motivated with a demonstrated enthusiastic approach to day-to-day project operations;
- Keen to follow instructions of Project Supervisor
- Strong organisational and time management skills

- Ability to work as part of a team and to operate across different work sites
- Ability to work in a respectful manner towards colleagues, supervisors and the wider community
- Desire to learn skills to pursue an industry career in construction sector.
