Exciting new changes to Australian Apprenticeship Support Network (AASN) services

The BUSY team is very pleased today, to begin the new Federal Government contract for the Australian Apprenticeships Support Network program. The services that BUSY is offering under the new contract contain some excellent opportunities for employers and their apprentices or trainees to extend support options throughout the life of their contract.

Some of the exciting new offerings include:

  • An innovative employability skills test to ensure the best match for apprentices and employers
  • An upgraded national recruitment platform ‘Apprenticeship Central’ where employers can advertise their apprenticeship or traineeship opportunity, and job seekers can search for opportunities – all at no cost
  • Access to MORE mentoring to keep apprentices on track to complete their apprenticeship with additional assistance for apprentices when they are struggling
  • Access to no-cost E-learning and soft skilling courses

Managing Director for BUSY At Work, Paul Miles, said he was very happy to provide employers with additional services to further improve the success rates of apprenticeships in our region.

“BUSY has been delivering AASN for over 20 years and has achieved market leading results in Queensland, largely due to our innovative approach and passionate, experienced team members. These additional services will go a long way in continuing our mission to improve skills and employment opportunities for our regions”.
