Despite the impacts that 2020 have had on us all, it is encouraging news for job seekers in Far North Queensland, Emerald and the Sunshine Coast that jobactive provider BUSY At Work, partnering with CoAct, has achieved a 5-star rating for 75% of its jobactive sites!
BUSY At Work, a part of the BUSY Group Ltd, received a 5-star rating for these regions: Smithfield, Mossman, Port Douglas, Gympie, Noosaville, Emerald.
The quarterly star ratings, publicly announced today for the most recent quarter, are delivered by the Australian Government Department of Employment, Skills and Training and assess jobactive providers throughout Australia on their ability to engage, place and retain job seekers into sustainable employment.
One of the job seekers recently placed into employment by the BUSY At Work/ CoAct jobactive team in the regional town of Emerald, was Daniel who had this to say: “Being told by previous organisations that I was not ready for work really affected my self esteem. When I came to the team at BUSY, they believed I could work and I am grateful to have been placed in a job at Coles. Since I started my role, they have put me in charge of the displays for promotions and have also given me an extra days work. I have now caught up with my bills and I feel great – all thanks to my employment consultant at BUSY”.
