One Stop Training Joins the BUSY Group

One Stop Training deliver a range of vocational skills for the Transport and Logistics industry, an industry that has recently been front of mind for many due to the impacts of Covid and the spotlight on Australia’s supply chain industry.  The investment in the One Stop Group is part of the BUSY Group’s growth in the training industry and developing the skills and workforce of the future.

Jeff Lamb, Co-Founder of One Stop Group alongside Craig Butler, believes that One Stop and the BUSY Group align ethically and in their joint purpose to support skills and career development.

“Joining the BUSY Group brings lots of potential in the business that can be unleashed as we will have the opportunity to integrate and grow. Our future plans are to increase our footprint as well as increase our suite of deliverables with more diverse programs.

“We are also really keen to increase participation of women in non-traditional roles. Not so long ago female representation in the transport and logistics industry was only 3% and it is now approaching 10% which is great but we still have a long way to go. More women in these non-traditional roles is important to mature the industry. We know the BUSY Group are very supportive of this too”.

Paul Miles, Managing Director of the BUSY Group also believes the integration of One Stop Training into the BUSY Group will increase vocational skills and career opportunities for job seekers in our region, “One Stop Training will provide further opportunities for our community members to skill for careers in the Transport and Logistics industry, an industry that has increased its demand for human resources. We’re excited about the new offerings we can provide to our community members through this reputable Registered Training Organisation, and looking forward to supporting the growth of its vocational service offerings into the future”.
