The BUSY Group, one of Australia’s most dynamic and respected organisations in employment, education, and skills, has joined forces with the Institute of Employability Professionals (IEP) to advance the Centre for Employability Excellence in Australia and New Zealand, building on strong global foundations and elevating this work further through a partnership focused on innovation, collaboration, and impact.
This exciting new partnership brings the IEP’s global leadership in professional development and best practice together with The BUSY Group’s extensive on-the-ground expertise, supporting individuals, employers, and communities through a diverse portfolio of programs across Australia, New Zealand, and the UK.
The new Centre represents the next evolution of the IEP’s international network, creating a platform to develop and deliver practical, evidence-based excellence in employability practice. It will draw on shared insight, research, and innovation to strengthen outcomes for people seeking meaningful, sustainable work.
Scott Parkin FIEP, Group CEO, IEP, said:
“The Centre for Employability Excellence builds on strong foundations, and we’re delighted that The BUSY Group will lead the next chapter in Australia and New Zealand. Their vision and commitment make them an ideal partner to advance the work of the Centre.”
The BUSY Group has been transforming lives for nearly five decades through employment, education, wellbeing, and skills solutions. From a local youth employment project in Queensland, the organisation has grown to operate from over 130 locations internationally, with a workforce of more than 1,000 professionals delivering community-strengthening outcomes every day.
Paul Miles, Global Managing Director, The BUSY Group, said:
“We’re proud to partner with the IEP to establish the Centre for Employability Excellence in Australia and New Zealand. The Centre represents an important step forward in how we collaborate across government, industry, and the community to deliver practical, measurable improvement in employability. It’s about raising standards, sharing what works, and developing the future capabilities our sector needs to continue changing lives.”
The BUSY Group is also a Global Partner of the IEP and the headline sponsor of the IEP Summit Australia 2025, taking place on 14 October at 12-Micron, Sydney, an event that will bring together senior leaders, practitioners, and external experts to explore the future of employability, leadership, skills, AI, and change.
The IEP has enjoyed strong relationships with Case UK and Health 2 Employment for a number of years, and with both organisations now part of The BUSY Group, this partnership marks an exciting opportunity to expand and deepen that relationship even further. It reflects a shared commitment to excellence, innovation, and social impact across the employability and skills landscape. Together, The BUSY Group and the IEP will drive forward a program of research, learning, and knowledge exchange through the Centre, creating a foundation for continuous improvement and inspiring the next generation of employability leaders across Australia and beyond
