We’re gearing up for the Queensland Training Awards!

The BUSY Group is a proud supporter of the Queensland Training Awards, with the group being involved as sponsors for many years. In 2023, The BUSY Group are major sponsors for the upcoming 7 regional events and program partner sponsors for the QTA State Final later this year. In addition, BUSY At Work, a part of the BUSY Group and an Australian Apprenticeship Support Network provider, is also sponsoring the Bob Marshman Trainee of the Year category.

The Queensland Training Awards is a historic event that has been held every year since 1962 (over 60 years) with the awards recognising the achievements of individuals and organisations that ‘strive for and have achieved success, best practice and innovation in vocational education and training (VET)’.

With nominees recently chosen for the seven regional events in July, the resulting finalists will then go onto the State Final with winners announced at the QTA’s gala night held 9th September. The awards will showcase the achievements of apprentices, trainees, vocational students, teachers, and trainers, as well as training providers and employers.

Paul Miles, Managing Director for The BUSY Group said: “The VET sector is crucial for developing the skills needed for Australian industries, now and into the future. For over 40 years, BUSY has been supporting career pathways for individuals and skills needs for industry through our range of services including vocational training, career mentoring, recruitment, and apprenticeship services. We are proud to support the Queensland Training Awards and we congratulate and wish all the regional finalists the very best in the upcoming regional award announcements, and in the final State Awards held later this year.”
